| Corrects Cable Faults when
Sending Digital Video over Copper Cables
The ex•tend•it DVI Booster corrects any digital video
signal degradation that occurs when a simple cable is used to extend
a DVI display more than 15 feet from the source or the computer.
If you are using a 50 foot or longer DVI copper cable to connect
your computer display or HDTV to your source, you may see sparkles
when it’s connected. When combined with a DVI Booster, that
same cable will transmit perfect digital video. You can also use
the DVI Booster as a long range extender by alternating a cable
and a DVI Booster as far as you need to go. With Gefen's 50 foot
DVI copper cable, you can sustain 1080p or 1920x1200 resolutions
up to 150 feet when combined with DVI Boosters.
How it works
This plug and play installation takes seconds: the DVI Booster sits
between the end of your DVI cable and your display. You simply connect
the DVI Booster to the end of your DVI cable on one side and to
the display’s cable on the other side. You also have the option
of connecting another DVI cable to the Booster, daisy chaining Boosters
and cables for greater distances.
